TWSBI Ink Set
TWSBI just launched a new ink set, their first foray into inks. The set contains six inks in 18ml frosted glass bottles for $34.99. I purchased mine from Lemur Ink. The inks are all more “classic” inks, with not much shading or sheen. I actually prefer my inks to be this way and to just have nice color payoff. Here are some photos of the inks and some comparisons for your information and enjoyment!
The packaging is a very thick cardboard that almost feels like plastic. The box is held together with a cardboard sleeve that slides off. The bottles are a heavy frosted glass with beautiful red thick plastic caps with the TWSBI logo on top.
Here are three comparisons for each of the TWSBI inks, the closest matches I had in my Col-o-ring.
So far, I’ve written a little with all of them and they feel more on the wet side of things and so far well behaved on Tomoe River paper. I’m looking forward to writing with them more and getting to know them better.
